Additional Services

Although First Class concentrates mostly on our customers' window cleaning needs, we also offer an array of other cleaning services. Below is a list of our additional services including the procedures our company uses.

Blind Cleaning

           - We realize that many people have very limited free time due to their busy life schedules. We understand that this process is very meticulous and time consuming, therefore, many of our customers have hired us to perform this task. Our company knows that there are a variety of blinds and many are delicate and expensive, so we only use a process called "damp cloth cleaning" to properly clean our customers' blinds.

           - "Damp Cloth Cleaning" is a detailed technique which entails using a damp chamois to clean each blind slat one at a time. Once we have completed the damp cloth cleaning, we will then wipe each slat with a dry cloth to properly remove any excess water or dirt. The blind will remain on the window and is never removed from it's casing or from the customer's residence. Other companies may remove the blinds, however, we strongly believe this could present a liability issue and much more importantly, a privacy concern for the customer.

Screen Cleaning

          - Many times, even though the windows are clean, the cleanliness of the screens prevent the windows from appearing as clean an clear as they should be. It is important to have your screens regularly cleaned to prevent permanent etching* on your windows. First Class Window Cleaning provides our customers with three options to have their screens properly cleaned.

  • Dry Brush Cleaning

           - Our crew will remove the screens and use a soft-bristled brush to remove any dirt from the screen and the frame. We will repeat this process on both sides and replace the screens when the process is completed.

  • Damp Cloth Cleaning

           - This technique is similar to dry brush cleaning, only we use a damp chamois or cloth to clean both sides of the screen and frame. Again, we will replace the screens when the process is completed.

  • Wet Wash Cleaning

           - This process entails removal of the screens, washing the screens with a soft soapy applicator, and rinsing the screens thoroughly with clean water. As always, we will replace the screens after the process is completed.

Our company is aware that having your windows cleaned is a luxury and not a necessity. We know it is an added expense to a sometimes restricted budget. Therefore, we give our customers the option of removing the screens prior to their scheduled service in order to be more cost effective and save them money.

Mirror Cleaning

          - This cleaning process is identical to our window cleaning technique. We use a soft applicator soaked in a soapy ammonia water mixture. We then apply the mixture to the mirror surface and squeegee off any excess water leaving a streak-free finish. We always make sure to wipe off any remaining moisture from around the mirror edges to prevent any damage to the surrounding frame or wall.

Outdoor Light Fixture Cleaning

         - We apply our soapy ammonia water mixture to a soft cloth and gently wipe over each pane of glass within the fixture. We start on the interior of the fixture leaving the outside last for optimal cleanliness. We will then re-wipe the entire light fixture to remove any excess dirt or streaks from all surfaces.
